Condolences
Dear Arlene & Family,
Ken & I were very saddened to learn of Glen's passing. He was always very kind & helpful, & we remember many times attending the same social occasions with you & Glen, with fondness. We send our most heartfelt condolences to you all.
. Winnie the Pooh knew of the love Glen and Arlene share, when he said,
“how lucky I am to have had someone that makes saying goodbye so hard“
Life isn’t fair, we know that, but the love we are able to share, is compensation. My sincere condolences, light and blessings to your family in this challenging time.

Barry and I are saddened to hear of the loss of this kind and interesting man.
I remember with great fondness the times our families spent together, both when I was a child (especially camping in the Okanagan) and later as adult. All through the many years, Mr. Johnston always listened respectfully to our answers to his thoughtful questions about our lives and our careers. Barry enjoyed their many discussions about geology.
My parents will miss their very good friend.
Our condolences to Mrs. Johnston and the family.

Dear Arlene: Glen was a true gentleman. A devoted husband and family man, a long time thoughtful friend. Our daughters remembers fun times camping near Kelowna with the Johnstons. We fondly remember many years of shared meals including good food and lively discussions, bridge sessions, golf games and especially curling in the Banff mixed bonspiels. And many other times together just doing what friends do!

Dear Arlene and Family,
I was saddened to just learn that Glen had died. I was fortunate to work closely with him on city council during both his terms in office. He was a true gentleman and one of the most decent men I had the privilege to know. I loved his sense of responsibility, commitment and humour.
I am truly sorry to have missed his memorial service and offer my deepest sympathy on your loss.
Sincerely,
Bev Longstaff
Hello Arlene and family,
I wish to send you love in this hard time. Glen was an amazing man and he gave me a great start in my work career as Aldermanic Assistant.. Working for such a dedicated, ethical, kind and funny man was an honour.
Best regards to you all, Lynn Jenkins.
