It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia “Pattie” Francis Berger (nee Sauvé) on June 27, 2023. Pattie passed away on Tuesday June 27 at 11:45 a.m.

 

Pattie had a heart of gold. Her smile would fill you with joy, her hugs were always filled with warmth. She would feed not only your soul but your belly at any given moment. Pattie was filled with love and would offer care, and compassion to anyone and everyone being the generous soul she was. 

 

Pattie was born and raised in Calgary, AB, she met her husband and high school sweetheart at St. Francis High School. They were blissfully married for 40 years. They first started out in Calgary, AB, building their family then eventually transitioning out to Cochrane, AB, to continue their journey together, and building friendships as well as spending more time with family. 

 

Pattie leaves behind her oldest son Wyatt Brice Milner (Bonnie Milner), her daughter Tara Lynn Popplewell along with her grandchildren Charlotte Milner, Julie Popplewell, Emmett, and Averie Berger; her sisters Jo Anne Forest, Linda Killen (Bob Killen) as well as brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and life-long friends Jana and Garry Daignault. Pattie was predeceased by her husband David George Berger, and her youngest son Jerrod Robert Berger.

 

Memorial Service will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street N, Calgary, AB T2E 2V6) on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. a private graveside Service will take place at a later date. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
