Obituary of Elizabeth "Beth" Plana

Beth Plana, beloved wife of Ner Alfredo Plana, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Monday, June 26, 2023, at the age of 73 years.

Beth was born in Manila, Philippines on June 12, 1950. Beth graduated from the Philippine School of Business Administration. Beth married Ner Alfredo in 1972. They resided in Taytay, Rizal in the Philippines with their three children until moving to Calgary, AB, Canada in 2016.

She was an active member of the Catholic Church and went to Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Calgary, as well as the Rivers of Living Water Catholic Community in the Philippines.

Beth loved being around family and friends, travelling and eating out with them, and enjoyed doting on her grandchildren.

Besides her loving husband, Beth is survived by her two sons, Richard Neal and Christian Neal, her daughter and son-in-law, Katherine Grace and Hendrich and her four grandchildren, Gabrielle Grace, Calen Austin, Isabelle and Caitlin Skye.

Beth is also survived by her sister, Norma, brothers, Ernesto, Gilbert, Gerardo, Joselito; as well as numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Beth was predeceased by her parents, Norberto and Corazon, and brother Norberto, Jr.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McInnis & Holloway (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street N, Calgary, AB T2E 2V6) on Monday, June 10, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street N, Calgary, AB T2E 2V6) on Monday, July 10, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
