Obituary of Margaret Mae Shelton

Margaret Shelton of Calgary, AB, passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at the age of 80 years.

Margaret was born in Claresholm and graduated from the University of Alberta with a degree in Sociology. She owned the "Mark My Words" bookstore in Willow Park and was an avid horseback rider, competing in many jumping events with her beloved horses MJ and Tigger. Margaret had a great passion for travel and was able to return to South India, where she had spent time as a CUSO volunteer in 1966. Margaret will be most remembered for her kind and gentle nature.

She was the beloved wife of Eric, and survived by her sister Elizabeth; nieces Shauna, Janene and Lynsey.
