Obituary of Anthony Duke Mykyta

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of Anthony Duke Mykyta of Calgary, AB on Monday, July 3, 2023, at the age of 29.

Anthony graduated from SAIT Polytechnic with a diploma in Automotive Service Technology. He worked for 3 years at JB’s Power Centre and 2 years at Value Village.

He will always be remembered for his passion of cars, generous spirit, love of cats, infectious sense of humour and as a loyal friend.

Anthony’s most memorable vacation was a family trip to Disneyland and enjoyed many summer vacations in Penticton with his friends.

Anthony will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Andrea, and Ron, as well as his brothers Alex (Destiny) and Aaron (Yuki).

Anthony was predeceased by his grandparents, Esther and George Mykyta, Sara and Dick LaPeare and his beloved cat, Smoke.

The family would like to thank the Mustard Seed (counselling staff) and Recovery Acres Calgary Society (staff and residents).

A private family service will be held at a later date for family and friends.
