I originally met Anna and the Gierach family when they moved to Canada, and Anna attended St.Patricks elementary school. We became best friends in grade six and we were inseparable for many years. Anna’s family became my family. Mark was a third brother to me, and sometimes I saw the Gierach’s more than my own family. Mark was always a great guy! Kind, good sense of humour, and more than willing to put up with whatever shenanigans his sister and I were up to. I’ve always loved Mark very much!
