Condolences
I first met Roger when he advised me regarding an on-going serious crime. I had only been with the CPS for one year and was still wet behind the ears. He was working in the detective office at the time. He provided excellent advice, was very patient, and we both gave evidence in QB court on the matter. We also worked together on another case after this, and again, his advice was greatly appreciated. He was a true gentleman, always willing to help in his quiet and unassuming way. When Roger retired from the police service, I enjoyed travelling on the same 'C' Train as him (to his new place of work), and we would catch up on the latest world news.
Rest in Peace Roger.
To Roger's daughters and family - my sincere condolences to you all. I worked with Roger at CPS and always enjoyed our working association. He sure will be missed and I'm sure your families will always have many wonderful memories to cherish forever.

So sorry to hear of Roger passing. My condolences to the daughters and other members of his family. I came to know Roger early in our Careers. We became good friends, attending Police related and other functions and socializing some as our kids grew up. Roger took great pride in being a member of the Police Service. Other than our “Street” time the only other time we worked together was during Roger’s employ in the Vice Unit.
After our retirement, we continued to unite monthly with a few other retirees to play a friendly round of poker. It was difficult to see Roger’s health decline over the last couple of years. During visits, he frequently reminisced about time on the “job” and often mentioned his daughters who he loved dearly, and other family members as well. I will always have fond memories of Roger and cherish our time together. Rest In Peace my friend.
Roger supervised me when I worked UC for his Vice Unit. A true professional and an awesome coach. We had more fun than any police officer is allowed to have. I’m very sorry for your loss.
I too was a young police officer who always had the greatest regard for Roger, his kind guidance and support. Best regards in condolences to the family. John and Dale Young
