Margaret Sales (nee Michell), of Calgary, AB, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2023, at the age of 96 years.

Margaret married Fred Sales in June 1950 and they enjoyed 63 years together.

Margaret is survived by two daughters; Dianne (Ken) Cornell, and Carol (Randy) Wilson and son John “Rick” (Debra) Sales.

ten grandchildren; Paul (Bhavneet) Cornell, Laurie (Craig) Howe, Joanne Sales (Carl Marquardt), Darren (Cathy) Sales, Trish Sales, Jared (Robyn) Wilson, Josiah Wilson, Rachel Wilson, Kyra (Shayne) Legault, Kyle Wilson. Ten great-grandchildren; Harrison Sales Marquardt, Maya Cornell, Mila Cornell, Mira Cornell, Maxine Howe, Thomas Sales, Alexander Sales, Hank Wilson, Noah Wilson, Hunter Legault.

Margaret was predeceased by her husband Frederick, parents Ted and Gwen Michell, brothers Bill (Thel) Michell, Jack (Pat) Michell, Bob (Lucy) Michell and Dave (Sharon) Michell and sister Joan (Dave) Brown.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff and nurses at the George Boyack Care Centre for their love and care of Margaret for over ten years.

A Memorial Service will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street N, Calgary, AB T2E 2V6) on Friday, August 11, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
