Jon Turcotte of Calgary, AB, passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at the age of 43 years.
Born in Regina, Jon grew up in Calgary. He began a roofing career in his late teens, ran his own exterior construction company for years before becoming a project manager for a commercial roofing company. Jon was a precious son and brother, tremendously loved and respected by friends, neighbors, colleagues as a most generous and supportive person with an open heart and home. “More than a neighbor: a friend.” “More than a friend: a brother.”
Jon is survived by his parents Garnet and Hazel; his sisters, Carolyn, and Sarah; and nephews, Tim, and Caleb.
Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Monday, July 17, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. Reception to follow in the hospitality centre at the funeral home. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed here. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Calgary Inter-Faith Food Bank Society, to the Mustard Seed Street Ministry, or Youth Unlimited.
