Obituary of Roger Floyd Ball

Roger Ball, beloved husband of Marnie Ball (nee Hilts), of Calgary, AB, passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at the age of 73 years.

Roger graduated from the South-Central High and had several careers over his lifetime, most of them involved trucking. After he was done with trucking, he spent a good number of years in the oilfield industry.

He loved to see new places and traveled extensively throughout North America. His most memorable vacations were the two trips with his wife Marnie to Hawaii.

Roger was also an avid reader and enjoyed spending time and reading to his newest neighbour.  

Besides his loving wife, Roger is survived by his three brothers and three sisters-in-law, Don Ball (Dianne Shantz) of Alsask, SK, Cody Ball (Dianne Mahura) of Oyen, AB, Will Ball (Wanda Olds) of Oyen, AB; four sisters and four brothers-in-law, Sandra Adams (Lennard) of Rocky Mountain House, AB, Wanda McPhail (John) of Wiseton, SK, Shelly Omiecinski (Ed) of Wiseton, SK, Janice Tanaschyk (Perry) of Hemaruka, AB; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Roger was predeceased by his son Jesse Ball, parents Georgina and Wilfred and sister Sandra Adams.
