Obituary of Bradcus Ouarthen House

September 9, 1996 – Morley, Alberta

July 16, 2023 – Calgary, Alberta

 

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Bradcus “Cman” at the age of 26. Throughout his whole life, Bradcus was best known for his humorous free-spirited personality. Bradcus was always humble, and respectful with everyone he came across and he would greet everyone with a smile and handshake, he was well known for his jokes. Bradcus loved travelling whether it was for a powwow or hockey, he also enjoyed horseback riding with his brothers, he cherished all the family gatherings where he was most known to make the room laugh, Bradcus was there for anyone who needed a helping hand. Cman will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him, he was the light of the room, there was never a dull moment when Cman was there. Bradcus had an unconditional love for his daughter Bria House and had a fond relationship with the mother of his child Justine’s, husband Emmanuel.

 

He is survived by his parents Bradley and Pearl House, his loving daughter Bria House, daughter’s mother Justine (Emmanuel), siblings; Triscella, Colten (Shay), Blaine, and Steven Baptiste. Adopted mother, Sandra Baptiste, nephew Darren, nieces; Caizlynn and Sarah, cousins; Erick, Travis (Renee), Jessica (Gabe), Kelsey (Bo), Kyle (Francine), Tia, Chantelle (Dre), Jada, Haydon and Paisley. Aunties; Laureen (Darryl), Doyletta (Leon) Gayleen (Harvey) Ann (Tom), Carlinda. Uncles; B.R (Angela), Levi (Nora), Benny, Leroy, Quincy. Numerous aunties, uncles and cousins from the  Poucette, Twoyoungmen, Amos, House, Simeon, Cecil, Francis, Holloway, Kaquitts, Labelle and Wesley families, Special brothers and sisters; Dominick, Gage, Tyree, Matty, Christian, Sage, Brenden, Nicholas, Arcilla, Anissa, Keysha. Grandparents; John Wesley, and Yvonne House, Cathleen Poucette, and Shirley and Clarence Wesley. Family apologizes if they have missed anyone.

 

Bradcus had numerous friends whom he took as brothers and sisters.

 

He was predeceased by his brothers; Centron House (1991) and Boycus House (1992), grandparents; May Amos and Pierce Poucette, Winnie and Jensen Francis, Elizabeth Holloway, Alice and Arthur Twoyoungmen, and Dale House.

 

The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff at the Foothills Hospital Ward 3 and ICU for their care of Bradcus.

 

Wake Services will be held at the residence of Pearl House (Morley, AB) on Thursday, July 20, 2023. Funeral Services will be held at Morley Gymnasium (Morley, AB) on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at 1:00 p.m.  Graveside Service to follow at Bearspaw Cemetery (Morley, AB).  Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed here.
