Margaret Zacharias of Calgary, Alberta, passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at the age of 92 years.

Margaret’s family is finalizing her complete obituary which will be posted here in the next few days.

Margaret was predeceased by her beloved husband Harry. Margaret is lovingly remembered and survived by her three sons and daughter, Karey, Ricky (Terry affectionately known as "Lucy"), Marcia, and Stacy (Tammy) ; one very dearly loved sister, two brothers, several nieces and nephews; and her very, very loved grandchildren Joshua and Isaiah.

Last but not least, is a final farewell to her breakfast coffee friends at McDonald's. Margaret lived for the mornings because of those lovely ladies, and she considered them to be her real true honest friends. We know how much Margaret will be sadly missed, and that includes the ladies from her swimming group, too. Very special mention to Margaret's dear friend Donna Coutts who had a very special place in Margaret's life. When Donna prayed for Margaret, the answer was almost instantaneous!

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McInnis & Holloway at McInnis & Holloway (Crowfoot, 82 Crowfoot Circle NW, Calgary, AB), on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
