Obituary of Marilyn Ruth Maxwell

October 14, 1938 - July 26, 2023

Marilyn R. Maxwell (nee Fitzpatrick) predeceased by her beloved husband Donald N. Maxwell passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at the age of 84 years. 

They were married for 56 years. Marilyn will be lovingly remembered by three sons, Donald G. (Margaret), Richard, and Scott. Predeceased by son Robert. Survived by her five grandchildren, Donald W., Laura, Meghan, Katelyn, and Alexander; great-grandchild Masyn; sisters, Gayle Maguire and Jackie Stewart (Charlie) predeceased by Delores Pfeiffer; as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.  Marilyn graduated from Western Canada High school and later upgraded her education at the University of Calgary. Her hobbies were photography and travel. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and animal lover. 

Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street N, Calgary, AB T2E 2V6), on Friday, August 4, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
