Obituary of Sarah Jane Ajoste

Sarah Jane Enriquez Ajoste passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2023, in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, at the age of 23 years. 

She was born to Jesus and Juvy Ajoste on January 27, 2000, in Calgary, Alberta. Sarah was a kind, creative, selfless young woman whose gentle presence lit up any room she was in. She loved reading, listening to music, watching anime, singing, baking, cooking and spending time with her family. She recently graduated with her Bachelor's in Community Rehabilitation and Disability Studies and planned to become an occupational therapist. Sarah had immense patience and compassion for others and greatly affected the lives of everyone she met. She is lovingly remembered by her parents, Jesus and Juvy Ajoste; her siblings, Erika Ajoste, Evan Ajoste and Maria Ajoste; and her grandparents, Fruto Enriquez and Susanna Ajoste. Sarah will be especially missed by her cousins, friends and loved ones.

Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McInnis & Holloway (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive SW, Calgary, AB) on Friday, August 4, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. 

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church (5340 – 4th Street S.W., Calgary, AB) on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. Reception to follow at the Church. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
