Obituary of Ronald Frederick Joestl

Ronald Frederick Joestl, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, July 28, 2023, at the age of 81 years. Ronald was born in born January 12, 1942, in Saskatoon, SK.

Ron was the beloved husband of the Late Annette, and devoted father of three sons, Darren, Darcy, and Cory.

He was a proud member of the Calgary Fire Department for 32 years, where he was appointed Captain of his district. Ron was passionate about his work, life, and his family.

He enjoyed fishing, travelling, and spending time with friends and family.

Ronald’s most memorable vacation was to Europe. Ron will be most remembered for his devotion to his family, and his work.

Ron was predeceased by his loving wife Annette, daughter Lori, mother Tilly, and father Fred.
