Condolences
19 August 2023
Dear Brenda, Marna, Jacquie & the Heater Family,
While I sit here at our kitchen table I look across it remembering seeing your Mom and Dad sitting here having dinner; it doesn’t seem that long ago. We’ve had a relationship that has spanned almost 40 years. Can it be erased with the traversing of “the veil”?
Our daughter Katie recalls the time your folks took our family to dinner at the Charthouse in Encinitas and the first and only time she had lamb with mint sauce at the Quail’s Inn in Lake San Marcos. She remembers Bill contributing money for a bedroom furniture set for our grandson Dean’ bedroom when the first bought their house.
There are so many memories that come flooding back when we think of the generosity of your Dad.
Nancy and I send our condolences to you and the family at your loss and what is ours as well.
Your Mom and Dad were, and are, good people. We are proud to have known them. They will be missed.
In remembrance,
Terry & Nancy Cottrell
Dear Brenda, Marna, Jacquie & families,
I'm saddened to hear of Uncle Bill's passing. I have fond memories of visiting your place as a kid. Your Mom was a superb host/organizer of Bridal/Baby showers and Oscar Parties, (He would say hello to everyone, and I think he must have retired to the basement?!) I often wondered what he thought of our crazy family? McGoldrick family reunions over the years....Bill was a constant presence, a devoted husband, father and grandfather. We share in your sorrow and will miss Uncle Bill and his sense of humour. Hugs to you all.

I was sad to hear of your Dad's passing. I have such great memories of staying with you when we visited in the summer. I loved riding around in the convertible, swimming, and your Dad introduced me to crab legs - which remain my favourite. He loved all his girls deeply. I remember your Dad as a generous, funny, and caring person. Sending you all big hugs xoxo
