I knew Chou when I was a young university student working at the Northlands racetrack in Edmonton. Chou was my line supervisor and was always quick to defend us if anything went wrong. I remember his very funny stories about a childhood in China and his years running restaurants in Edmonton. He was a man of great humour and liveliness and I am sure all of his family will miss him very much.
