Condolences
RIP Dean ,my sympathies go out to all his family, and friends, that knew him.God bless
My thoughts and prayers to Lynn, Courtney and Spencer. I'm so sorry. This is Lori Wilson who worked at the McDougall church office. I remember how glad we all were when Dean came to cook with us at Community Kitchen. I do remember you all as a very kind and caring family. As a widow too, my heart goes out to you Lynn. Sweet blessings. Lori
Our deepest condolences to Lynne, Courtney, Spenser and all of their family.
One of our fondest memories was visiting them in Kensington, PEI in July of 2000. Dean cooked a huge lunch of fresh seafood in a giant pot outdoors. It was the best seafood we have ever eaten. I couldn't believe my eyes when he plopped a whole lobster on Courtney's plate as she was just a 3 year old and she ate most of it. We were so full we didn't eat again that day. What a wonderful day we had with them all.
I remember Trevor and I camping at Dean & Lynn's in Emerald on the corner. We were sitting around a camp fire, singing and telling stories. I asked Dean to teach me some trucker talk. And this is what he tougt me, "Hey 42 driver ya gotta a bear flip-flopping on the concrete canoe and a gater wait'en to eat ya up on the other side!"
I always say this speel to taxi drivers when I've had a few. Great guy, will be missed by many. RIP Dean
Thoughts are with Lynn, Courtney and Spencer.
