John Leski, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2023, at the age of 66 years.
John was born in Poland on October 14, 1956, to Richard Leski and Janina Kut. He emigrated to Quill Lake, Saskatchewan, Canada in 1962 with his mother and sister.
John accomplished much through his life and was particularly proud of his children and grandchildren.
John's hobbies and interests include fishing, woodworking, painting, biking, gaming, and enjoying hanging out with the numerous friends he acquired every where he went.
John's favourite song Crazy Train has a line that says, “To learn how to love and forget how to hate”, and this is what our Dad was all about.
John is survived by his four children, Tanya Fraser (Jason) of Rocky View County, AB, Sonya Biswanger (Corby) of Calgary, AB, Roxanne Andrews (Mark), of Regina, SK, and Jacob Leski (Kim) of Calgary, AB; five granddaughters, his sister Irene, and Brothers Larry, Terry, and Clarence; as well as a niece, a nephew, and extended family members.
John was predeceased by his parents Richard Leski and Janina Humenny (Gregory Humenny).
