Obituary of Gerald Raymond Weber

Gerald Weber of Calgary, AB, passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at the age of 88 years.

Jerry is survived by his sister Rene, brother Bill (Lenore), and many nephews, nieces, and cousins. Jerry was predeceased by Jim Ince, his partner of 44 years, his mother Helen, father Bill, and brother-in-law Les. Jerry had a full life. His love for travelling took him to many places around the world. Jerry received a B Ed from the U of C and taught for six years. He also attended the Alberta College of Art and Design completing a three-year course. He took the Chefs’ course at SAIT and was the diet chef at the General Hospital for 18 years. Jerry also enjoyed volunteering at the Calgary Zoo for 23 years.

A Celebration of Jerry’s Life will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Park Memorial Hospitality Centre, 5008 Elbow Drive SW, Calgary, AB) on Monday, September 18, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed with Jerry’s family here.
