Condolences
Vera Emma and I met when she first started to date Joe Shannon, my closest and dearest friend. As their relationship developed so did my friendship with Vera. As a result of their marriage Vera also became my close friend. When I married my wife, Elaine, she and Vera became very dear and very close friends. The four of us spent so much time together we used to joke about sharing a home. We saw each other through good times and not so good times but normally with good humor. Oh my goodness the times we had! Their kids became our kids and their grandchildren became our grandchildren and we still continue to love them all very much. Vera had a long and full life but now it's time for her and Joe to be together again. Our love and condolences to the family and all the fabulous friends who were lucky enough to know our darling Vera Emma. Chris & Elaine Griffin
To the family and extended family of Mrs. Shannon our sincerest and heartfelt condolences. Mrs. Shannon was a vibrant lady who always had a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye. The kindness she showed me and my family is and was truly appreciated over the last three decades. It has been my extreme pleasure to know her and assist her over those years. From my family and the Optimus Building Corporation family we wish the family all of God's Blessings. May the sadness one feels on her passing diminish as time progresses and be replaced with all the laughter and happy memories that have accrued over those years that everyone has known her. God Bless. From Lazzaro Mautone, Alba Apuzzo and Hedy Oatts.
