Condolences
"Dom and I are heartbroken! Cheryl was more than a friend, she was part of our family. I will fondly remember our visit to Calgary and our phone calls, especially the fun we had when she lived in Toronto. Janice, Dom and I extend our heartfelt condolences to you and the family. Cheryl will be in our prayers. Love Diane and Dom."
I met Cheryl in the early 80's in Edmonton, Alberta when we both worked for Edmonton Transit- just working there to make some money. Cheryl was a breathe of fresh air in that business and we had many laughs together, sharing a similar sense of humour. Some years later I caught up with Cheryl in Toronto and we picked up where we left off- laughing and enjoying stories over a couple of glasses of wine. Being proud to be raised in the Maritimes, we would often have debates about which side of Canada was better- East vs West.
I am so sorry to hear of her passing and send my sincere condolences to her family.

So heartbroken to hear of Cheryl’s passing, my condolences to her family who she spoke of so fondly when she lived in Mississauga. Cheryl we shared many laughs and glasses of wine together, I will never forget you my friend.
“May God give you, for every storm, a rainbow, for every tear, a smile, for every care, a promise and a blessing in each trial. For every problem life sends, a faithful friend to share, for every sign a sweet song, and an answer for each prayer.”
