Our sincerest condolences to your dear family and friends. Nancy & I flew together for around 20 of my 30 years with AC before I transferred to Montreal to help out our kids realize their dreams and be more in the lives of my own family (mother, sister & brothers, nieces, nephews, etc...) Yes, indeed Nancy was a spark in life. I was always excited when I knew I'd be flying with her. Never a dull moment and she was such a hard worker. I think her motto was, "no one's finished, until we're all finished". She was the best! Layovers, however short most of the time, were a blast when she was there. We both had kids, so we didn't always bid on the long hauls. I still feel her presence. I am sure she is watching over everyone, especially her Ian and the boys. Her grandchildren must have loved her vivacity. So glad she travelled as much as she did. That tells me she lived life to the fullest. Bravo girlfriend!
Your friend always,

Nancy was a ray of sunshine, full of laughs, giggles and subtleties, filling my heart with delight and joy. The beautiful love that she and Ian shared is a rarity, one that I will never forget.
She will be missed and her glowing smile will
Always live on in my heart.sending love and serenity to the entire family.
Nancy and I graduated together on October 16, 1972. Early in our career, I was commuting and Nancy graciously took me home in her Corvette so I didn’t have to stay in a hotel. Always a hard worker and lots of fun to be with on a layover. Those big brown sparkling eyes told a story …..mischievous at times! You will be missed Nancy, Rest in Peace. Hugs, June Rasmussen

I had the pleasure of meeting Nancy when I joined Air Canada
and enjoyed working with her many times over the years. She was to me the ultimate example of ‘the perfect flight attendant’. She was truly a beautiful, caring and kind person and a pleasure to be around. I feel blessed to have known her and know she will truly be greatly missed , not only by her family but all of us who got to know and work with her. May she rest in peace.

I met Nancy in 2003 after I started flying international routes out of Calgary to Frankfurt and London. When Nancy was on the crew, there was no shortage of giggles and laughter. She was an incredible person and a superb coworker. When Ian was along the laughter was doubled. My condolences to Ian and the Whitmore family on the loss of a wonderful person.
Nancy was there for me back in my beginning career with Air Canada in 1979. Always encouraging and welcoming to her colleagues, just like she was her entire career as a Flight Attendant. Her and Ian made everyone feel like best friends and family! Working with them and Playing with them!. First fun travel memory for my husband Gilles and I, was a ski travel trip to Les Menuires. France with Airsports Airline travel group. Ian and Nancy were our ski guides for a night ski, making sure we had the best fun and best runs! We were the other married Airline couple and enjoy many wonderful memories of working with Nancy. You could always count on Nancy to share all her favourite places to see, go too and do with everyone. She was always up for some fun and a little mischief. Some of our fondest memories of our careers have Nancy and Ian in them…always ready to share laugh or be of help. You were one of a kind Nancy! We are feeling blessed to have known you, worked with you and enjoyed many a layover with you. RIP Dear Heart ❤️. Love Gilles and Alene (Cindy) Sergerie
