Obituary of Scott Andrew Provincial
June 16, 1988 – Edmonton, Alberta
September 1, 2023 – Calgary, Alberta
Scott Provincial, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, September 1, 2023, at the age of 35 years.
Scott was passionate about music, playing everything from piano and drums to guitar and bass. Scott had a strong connection to all of God's creatures and especially enjoyed taking family pets for long walks on the shores of the Great Slave-Lake.
Scott will be remembered for his love of music and animals, but most importantly his quick wit, good nature, and unique sense of humor. Scott always found humor in any situation, even situations that didn’t need humor. He was a minimalist who didn’t require much but would be the first to share anything he did have.
Scott had the ability to make every connection he had meaningful. Whether it was his first interaction with someone new or relationships with old friends and family.
Scott’s favorite saying was “Good enuff, Byeh, and whatever Colleen”.
No matter how you knew Scott, you shared a moment that is forever lasting, most likely still making you laugh today.
Scott is survived by his mother Colleen O'Toole, stepfather Kim Tybring, and his two brothers, Tyler, and Myles Provincial. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law Catherine Provincial and Brianna Dunn; nieces Elizabeth, Victoria, and Sadie Provincial; nephews Emerik and Noah Provincial; as well as the many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Scott is Loved and will be forever remembered in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be greatly missed.
Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Heritage, 1708, 16th Avenue N, across from the North Hill Shopping Centre, Calgary, AB) on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Reverend Dr. Thomas J. O’Toole ofs. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
