Obituary of Ajay Singh Purba
September 18, 2005 - Calgary, Alberta
August 29, 2023 - Stettler, Alberta
It is with an extremely heavy heart that we announce the passing of Ajay Singh Purba, of Airdrie, AB, on August 29, 2023. Born on September 18, 2005, he was only seventeen the day we lost him to a tragic accident.
Ajay leaves behind his beloved mother Audrina Purba, his father Harpreet Purba, his brother Arjun Purba, as well as all his extended family, and friends who loved him so much.
He was an amazing, and kind boy with a huge heart who always had a smile on his face. He cared so much for his family, his brother Arjun, and his dog Summer. He lit up every room he walked into with his infectious smile, and his beautiful, fun, and caring personality. He was a genuine boy who lived a life filled with love, and integrity. His memory will forever be a testament to the remarkable person he was.
We would like to give special thanks to Cpl. Grant Glasier, S/Sgt Jon England of the RCMP, and Joel Moran at Red Deer Emergency Services. We would also like to give special thanks to the MacDonald Family at the Ol' MacDonald's Resort.
If friends so desire, we request that memorial tributes be made directly to the Stettler Volunteer Firefighters Association (4807- 47 Ave PO Box 280, Stettler, AB, Canada, Alberta) in honour of all the incredible people who pulled together in an extremely difficult time to support our family.
