Obituary of Bill Benedict

Bill passed away at Peter Lougheed Hospital after a month’s hospitalization.

He is survived by his wife Gayl and her family, his sister Kathy Peterson (Gary); nieces, Laura Davis Kelly (Barry), and Karen Davis Rwankole (Paul); brother, Alan Casselman (Nancy) of Vancouver, BC; great-nieces Erin, Shaelyn, and Katie; as well as many dear cousins and friends.

A Gathering will be held at McInnis & Holloway Hospitality Centre (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive SW, Calgary, AB) on Friday, October 13, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Family and friends who are unable to attend in person are invited to join Mr. Benedict’s service streamed live on the day of the service (see below) on the day of the service. For those who are unable to view live, a recording of the service will be posted. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed with Bill’s family here.
