Obituary of Robin Edward KEMP

September 9, 1938 – London, England August 4, 2018 – Calgary, Alberta Robin Edward Kemp, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully at home on August 4, 2018. He was born on September 9, 1938 in London, England, and lived the last 70 years of his life in Canada; he died a month before he would have celebrated his 80th birthday. He was a master mechanic, amateur astronomer, avid gardener, talented musician and artist, and inspired builder. He lived a long, full life, sharing nearly 45 years with his loving wife Cheryl. They raised two devoted sons, Todd and Josh, and welcomed two wonderful daughters-in-law, Mia and Caroline, in the last fifteen years. His amazing granddaughters Helayna, Anna, and Natalie brought Rob much joy and many happy memories in his last few years. The family is grateful for the help and support provided by the Palliative Home Care team. His body can now rest in peace, and his spirit will live on through everyone his life touched. He will be dearly missed. Funeral services will be held at the new Jewish Memorial Chapel and Cemetery located at the North East Corner of Highway 22X and 37th Street S.W., on Tuesday, August 7, 2018, at 11am.
