Obituary of Rose Angeles

Flocerfina “Rose” Angeles, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at the age of 63 years.

Rose was born in San Andres Bukid, Manila, Philippines on December 15, 1959.

She settled in Calgary in 1986 from the Philippines.

Rose graduated from the Divine World University with a degree in Bachelor of Science and Commerce, Major in Accounting.

Rose married Felixander Angeles in 1989.

She was a member of the ROTC. Rose accomplished much through her life and was particularly proud of being a good wife and mother of 3 children.

Rose’s most memorable vacation was when she went to Toronto to see Niagara Falls and the parliament building in Ottawa. Rose enjoyed hiking, biking, dancing, eating, and spending time with loved ones.

Rose’s favourite sayings were “Hyaa” and “Duhh” and her favourite quote was “Don’t worry, Be happy.” She will be most remembered for her kind heart, generosity, and selflessness.

Besides her loving Husband, Rose is survived by her daughter Desiree and son-in-law Tyler; 2 sons, Arnel and Ariel all in Calgary, Alberta. Rose is also survived by her mother Maria in Carigara, Leyte. Her sister Mila, brother-in-law Paul in Cochrane, Alberta and her other sisters, Letty in Calgary, Alberta and Marife in Airdrie, Alberta; 2 brothers Boboy and Bunso and 3 sisters-in-law, Melda, and Charito in Carigara Leyte and Annie in Calgary, Alberta; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
