Condolences
Blessings. Just a real precious memories for me about your mom, auntie Flo every time since I was a child in the 70s visiting North Hill cost for hall with my best friend Phyllis Ralph now Hills, your mom would always remember my name, and come give me a hug and say welcome to the church. She always has a blessing to me as I didn’t hardly know anybody back then, and I always looked for her because she was the one that always made me feel welcome as a stranger, I’m so very thankful to her for her words and her always remembering who I was I will be looking for her in heaven when I go after I’ve looked for my Lord and Saviour first. The Lord certainly blessed me through her, and I visited the church.
Dear Derek and Ryan just a wee note to say how sorry we are to hear of Auntie Flo's death and yet joyful as she is now with her lovely Lord Jesus. It is not easy to say goodbye to your mother no matter how long you have had her and I’m sure you will miss her terribly. She was a wonderful woman like all the Burke sisters!
Hope to join you for the service.
Love Stephen Cousin Janet and family. God Bless x
My deepest confidences to Derek and Ryan,
Auntie Flo had a much treasured friendship with our mother Jean. Never did my parents visit without returning home with the famous baking. These treats were made with love and perfection. Your mother’s smile, her poise and eloquence will not be forgotten. She was definitely one of a kind. She is now Home.
Ruth
My thoughts are with you Ryan, at this time of sadness. All those batches of delicious shortbread that your mom baked were greatly appreciated. Thank you for sharing her birthday celebrations every 5 years and giving us all a chance to know a very fine lady.

My Aunty Flo in Canada was an enduring part of my family story and now sadly but inevitably that chapter has come to a close.
It seems a trivial thing but when I was told that Aunty Flo had passed I was baking and the thought crossed my mind she’d be proud of me doing something she so loved to do.
Families are not defined by location but by shared memories and experiences, but most of all families are defined by love.It is with love that I and my family husband David and sons Camin and Aled (who all had the pleasure of meeting Flo) say our goodbyes for now
We send our love and prayers to our cousins Derek and Ryan at this sad time
Love Cousin Barbara and family
It is with sadness I mark the passing of my dear sister Flo the oldest and last of my four siblings.
To realise I will never hear her voice again and swap family stories leaves a deep sense of loss.
However our shared history remains and the times we spent together although few will be treasured and letters and telephone conversations remembered fondly
Whilst reading my sister’s obituary it was very apparent that although divided by a vast ocean for most of our lives our interests and talents ran parallel and I too at the age of 90 have been told to stop climbing ladders!
John and I fondly remember her visit to Ireland in 1978 when she and Ryan stayed with us and Ryan had the opportunity to meet a great number of his relatives from both sides of his family and how welcome she made us when we travelled to Calgary in 2001
Memories are our keepsakes so Flo you will remain in our hearts we will remember ,your sense of humour, fun and kindness but above all your faith
John and I send our heartfelt sympathy to our nephews Derek and Ryan you are in our thoughts and prayers
Love Pam and John ( Clyde)
