Condolences
To Ken, Darlene and Allen
I am so sorry you have lost your mother, but I think those memories will go a long way to softening her absence. I didn't know Mary well but I do remember those lovely raisin pies and Mary's smile and welcoming manner every time we did meet, that graciousness is rare these days. Jan Weir
To Darlene, and family
This is such a beautiful obituary for your mother. Even though I never met your mother personally your words bring back memories for me from having worked with you for 20+ years. Your wonderful relationship with her made me envious. Every year was your special Christmas baking days, cooking with her at the family special events, and getting to travel near and far with her. These times were so special. I recall something you told me about your mother’s parenting skills. You said, she didn’t yell at her children but rather lowered her voice which made you listen more closely. Darlene, you are a wonderful example of the upbringing she gave you. May your memories always bring a smile to your face and warmth to your heart. God bless you in your grief.
Sincerely, your friend Kathy Uruski
What a wonderful tribute to Auntie Mary. She was a great Aunt. I have so many memories I could share. But the latest was my visit with her in April of this year. We played games and she won most of them. I loved the smile she gave when family came to visit and her words of wisdom. She always had time for her nieces and nephews no matter what she had going on at the time. Auntie Mary you will be missed and thought of often.
Love your niece Carol xoxo
