Obituary of Vincent Adrian MacDONALD

November 21, 1959 – New Glasgow, Nova Scotia July 20, 2018 – Calgary, Alberta It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Vincent Adrian MacDonald, on Friday, July 20, 2018 at his home in Calgary, AB, at the age of 58 years. Vince was born in New Glasgow, NS, the youngest son of the late Donald and Mildred MacDonald of Egerton, NS. Vince was a strong man who overcame many hurdles in his life. We are proud of him for his persistence in maintaining sobriety. We are pleased that his grandson Brody shares Vince’s passion for fishing. We are glad that he has found the peace he has been searching for. He was so loved and will be deeply missed. Forever “Gone Fishing”. Vince is survived by his loving girlfriend, Yva Palmares; his daughter, Dawn “Marie” Beauprez (Gord); grandchildren, Brody and Whiteney of Edmonton, AB; siblings, Donald MacDonald (Ella), Edie Gillis (Donnie), Laurie Kolstee (Gary), Alan MacDonald (Gloria), Philip MacDonald (Barb), and Bryan MacDonald (Melody). Vince was predeceased by a brother in infancy, his brother Melvin MacDonald; sister Dorothy Johnston and sister-in-law Jessie. A celebration of life will be held in Edmonton in August with a date to be determined.
