Condolences
Auntie Lenora was snd will ALWAYS be ny favourite Auntie. She taught ne how to make the most dekadent Nanimo Bars while spending a few days Summer holidays with her in Winnipeg. I was 10, still have my hand-written recipe snd think of her every time I make them.
But my most precious memory of Auntie Lenora originates from Christmas morning 1962- I was 5. When I opened my gift from her and family.
Ad I removed the giftwrap I was totally flabergasted!! I could not believe my eyes… I Recognized the box straight away and couldn’t open it quickly enough… there she was - in all her glory - Barbie!!!
Red hair with curly bangs and a “High” ponytail!!! -in her Red one-piece bathing suit and red high-heels. OMG!!!
I’d wanted this Barbie so badly but Mom (Auntie Lenora’s younger sister, Shirley) haf insister I was still too Young for a Barbie.
But Lenora loved to surprise the people she loved and spread her kindness and zest for life (her Stardust) everywhere she went.
All who met her and knew her know exactly what I’m referring to. I still have my Barbie… her original box and clothes snd I’m 66wf will all miss Auntie Lenora and wish her all things beautiful in Heaven … God bless her soul.
Love and hugs

Deepest sympathy for the family of Lenora. She was indeed a very special person, spreading kindness and humanity wherever she went. She will be truly missed, but never forgotten, and we were so lucky to have known her over the years.. Jim, Leeanne & Tyler
