Obituary of Paride Gallo

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that the Gallo family announces the untimely passing of their patriarch, Pat Gallo of Calgary, AB, on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at the age of 65 years.

“The longest-lived and those who will die soonest lose the same thing. The present is all that they can give up, since that is all you have, and what you do not have, you cannot lose” Marcus Aurelius.

Pat was a larger-than-life man who showed us all how to fully embrace what life has to offer with magnetic passion, indomitable spirit, and unwavering courage and strength.

In lieu of flowers and if desired, memorial tributes can be made to CINIM (integrative health and research institute), Brown Bagging for Calgary Kids, CKUA Music Radio, or a charity close to your heart.

Some of Pat’s final words to share, “Till we chat again… Love to all…the world is a wonderful place. Life is good.”

We welcome all friends and family to join us for a Celebration of Pat’s Life held at McInnis & Holloway (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street N, Calgary, AB T2E 2V6) on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. The interment will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at Queen’s Park Mausoleum at 11:30 a.m.
