Obituary of Frances Searle

September 29, 1930 – Sundown, Manitoba

September 30, 2023 - Calgary, Alberta

Frances Searle passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 30, 2023, in Calgary, AB at the age of 93.

Frances was born in Sundown, MB to Dmetro Gushulak and Annie (Dubnivk) Gushulak and have 16 brothers and sisters.

Frances leaves behind to mourn three sons Brian Baker, Bryce Baker and Bruce Baker, six grandchildren, and six great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her remaining siblings, Julian (Darlene) Gushulak, and Katherine (Kay) Ollenbittle

Frances’ passion was to travel and collect stamps. She was passionate about drawing and painting as well and she loved to garden.

The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the doctors and staff at Bow Valley Manor and Silva Beaverdam for the excellent care that she received over the last eight years.

Frances’ life with be celebrated with family.
