Obituary of Lorna Gail Stefnik

May 23, 1944 – Brampton, Ontario

October 1, 2023 - Calgary, Alberta

Lorna “Gail” Stefnik, born May 23, 1944, in Brampton Ontario, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023, at the age of 79.

Mom was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She put her heart and soul into providing a loving and caring environment for her family. She was an avid reader, who instilled a love of reading and books into her children and grandchildren. Mom loved camping, Christmas baking, and caring for those around her. Although she will be greatly missed, we take comfort in our memories, knowing that Mom and Dad are together again watching us from afar.

She is survived by her four daughters, Debbie Stefnik, Marilyn Moore, Heather Killeleagh, and Jennifer Eastwood; and six grandchildren, Rianna, Jason, Eli, Lily, Olivia, and Owen. She is also survived by her sisters Betty Pearce, Barb Andrews, and her brother Glen Andrews of Ontario.

Gail was predeceased by her parents, her husband Bill, her sister June Andrews, and her son, James Steven Stefnik.
