Lauren Scout of Tsuu Tina Nation, AB, passed away on Friday, September 29, 2023 at the age of 24 years.

Lauren is survived by her children, Aubrey and Dreyven; parents, Reannin Scout, Nicholas Stevens, (Biological father) Lorne Rabbit; siblings, Raiden, Mickey, Nikki, Tenisha Crier, Ardell Scout, Terrian Jacobs-Buffalo, Terrissa Jacobs-Buffalo, Tiara Jacobs-Buffalo, Colten Jacobs-Buffalo, Chesney Jacobs-Buffalo, Terry Jr. Jacobs-Buffalo, Zyriah, Sierra, Konan, Kiron, Aries, Chloe, Hailey, Fericka, Fergus Jr., Curtis, and Jareden; aunts, Lyndon (Fergus), Bianca (Cole) and Tabatha; special uncle “Dad”, Terry Buffalo Jr.; special aunts, Darcy Duckchief and Mar-Mar Heavenfire; Sara, Lacey Baby Brenda, Courtney, Pebbles, TJ Daniels, Jamie, Joni, Jovi; uncles, William Scout and Kyle Scout, Joe Big Plume, Vinny Pipestem, Ovid Merrick, Cory Onespot, Wendall, Wes Crazybull; grandmother, Cheryl Jacobs; great-grandmother Elizabeth Scout; and her grandparents Rod and Cindy Stuart Scout.

Lauren was predeceased by common-law-husband, Darius Cattleman, grandpa Harry, uncle Billy Scout, aunt Chelsey Buffalo, great-grandpa Willy Scout, grandpas Nelson Jacobs, Billy Jacobs and Jack Jacobs, special aunt Amanda Manywounds. If there is anyone the family has missed, they do apologize. 

Wake Services will be held at the residence of Tabatha Jacobs (Tsuu Tina, AB) on Friday, October 6, 2023 at 1:00 p.m.

Funeral Service will be held at the Residence of Tabatha Jacobs (Tsuu Tina, AB) on Saturday, October 7,2023 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Tsuu Tina Cemetery (Tsuu Tina, AB). Feast to follow at Tabatha Jacobs Residence. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed here.

In living memory of Lauren Scout, a tree will be planted in the Ann & Sandy Cross Conservation Area by McInnis & Holloway Funeral Homes.
