Audrey Whiteley (nee McKevitt) of High River, AB, passed away on Friday, October 6, 2023, at the age of 79 years.

Audrey McKevitt Whiteley was born in Midnapore on April 9, 1944, to Albert McKevitt and Exilda Shaw and passed away on October 6, 2023. She married John Whiteley and together they had two children, Tyler, and Julie. Tyler married Michelle Schaus, giving Audrey one grandchild, Dylan. Julie married Rick Hubbard, giving Audrey three grandchildren, Teagan, Kaden, and Payton. Audrey was a sister to Shelia, Hugh, Larry, Alberta, and Edwin, aunt to many, and beloved friend to countless.

A woman with a heart as big as the world and a love for animals that was matched by few. She taught her grandchildren, the joy of the ridiculous side of life and that laughter should always be had, especially when it was at inappropriate times. Always happy to sit next to a fire surrounded by family and friends, telling stories, and that family is never to be measured by blood but by love.
