Obituary of Kenneth Herbert Fulford

December 3, 1926 - October 8, 2023

Ken, aged 96 years, lived a long and full life. Ken was born and grew up in London, England. At the end of WWII, he gave 2 years to the British Royal Air Force. He then moved on to a career in accounting with the British Dock Labour Board.

In 1949, Ken married Ellen and they added two daughters to the family. With the encouragement of a Royal Air Force buddy, Ken moved the family to Calgary, AB, in 1963 where he was immediately employed by Royalite Oil Company. Once settled in Calgary, Ken and Ellen added a son to complete the family.

Ken retired from his accounting career with Gulf Oil Company and enjoyed many years with Ellen travelling and spending time at the cabin in the Columbia Lake area, B.C.  Ken moved to The Manor Village at Signature Park with Ellen for his final years.

Ken is survived by his wife of 74 years, Ellen; daughters Sally (Ron), Julia (Colin – predeceased) and son, Andrew (Bonnie).

He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
