Marion Laing was a special person in our family, and we consider it a great privilege to have enjoyed her friendship for over 40 years. She was a kind neighbor, gracious hostess, wise grandmother to our children, and always brought out the best in everyone she met. Marion never forgot a birthday or anniversary, and used the date as an opportunity to say something complimentary to her friends. In later years we were treated to tea and cupcakes while exploring family ancestry of the Sandens and their neighbors near Bawlf. A person of Marion’s 'non-judgemental' character is an inspiration to all who knew her; she leaves a legacy of positivity and class that is worthy of emulation and admiration.

We will remember this remarkable woman.
