Condolences
Dear Sydney and Family,
I send sympathy and deepest condolences to all of you. I was so sad to learn that John was in hospital and then doubly sad to read the notice of his death. I can just hear him joking and laughing as I look at his lovely picture! Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. May you all find great comfort in your wonderful memories of family times!
Blessings, Fran Cormack

I was so saddened to hear of John's passing. I hadn't seen John and Sydney much during the last number of years, but whenever we did meet, like so many good old friends we picked up where we left off, and remembered well and fondly our years together at PW. Lots of fun in those early years in the profession that I will always cherish.
My sincere sympathy to Sydney, Kyle, Lauren and family on your loss. I know you will be comforted by many wonderful memories of John in the months and years ahead.
I met John for the first time on May 1, 1968 at 8:00 a. m. in the reception area of the offices of Price Waterhouse in Calgary. I was a newly minted business school graduate joining the firm and he immediately made me feel welcomed. He was as warm and personable then, as he was throughout our over 50 year friendship. We played some awfully poor golf together and made a practice of “holding court” at the Danish Canadian Club for get togethers with a couple of other PW alumni for many years. I trust that his family has warm memories of their time together with John that will sustain them during this most difficult time.
Sincere condolences to Sydney and all of John’s family. He was my friend for 57 years, since the days articling together at Price Waterhouse many years ago. Lots of wonderful memories, enjoying a game of golf and the camaraderie after, reminiscing about Massey 44 tractors or sharing one of our many Christmas luncheons with longtime friends at the Danish Canadian Club.
Rest in peace my friend.
Bill Robertson
