Obituary of Harold Kenneth Horne

Harold Horne of Calgary, AB, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2023, at the age of 73 years.

Harold was born in Pembrooke, ON. He came to Calgary, AB, with his parents George and Betty Horne in 1954.

He attended Bowcroft Elementary School and Bowness High School.

After finishing school Harold enlisted in the Canadian Army. After serving for several years, he worked on various dairy and horse farms in Alberta and British Columbia.

Harold married Linda Thompson in 1977. They welcomed their eldest daughter Lynn, born in the fall of 1977. Their son John was born in 1979, and daughter Seccora was born in 1981. Harold welcomed his youngest daughter Michelle in May of 1992.

Harold was predeceased by parents George and Betty Horne; grandparents Edmund and Violet Horne, Herbert and Lily Wade; uncles Gary, and Edward Horne; brothers Bruce Horne, and Gordon Horne.
