Obituary of Irene Mary Jeske

Irene Mary Jeske, 93, peacefully passed away in Calgary on Monday, October 16, 2023.

Irene was predeceased by her husband Henry, her son Don, and her grandson Sean. She is survived by her brother, Frank (Anne) Jankulak, her three children, Alan (Sandra), Linda (Kern) Briscoe, and Ken (Jolynn); her seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Irene spent most of her life in Medicine Hat, where she raised her family and enjoyed activities with friends.  Irene was a dedicated volunteer for Victim’s Assistance and was recognized for her 20 years of service.  A special thanks to her kind friend, Irene, who was of great help to her in her later years. 

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Parish (1451 Strachan Rd SE, Medicine Hat) at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 24, 2023.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Medicine Hat Mustard Seed at https://theseed.ca/ways-to-give/?form=donate.
