Obituary of Laraine Heather Pollock

Laraine Heather Pollock, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at the age of 66.

Laraine lived her entire life in Calgary and was the loving mother to her daughter Jennifer Adams and son-in-law Michael Adams, both of Calgary, and her son Michael Pollock and his life partner Stacey Keehn both of Kamloops, BC. She held a special place in her heart for her two grandchildren, Corbin and Brittin Adams.

She was the beloved daughter of Connie and William Pollock, and the youngest sister to four brothers with three sisters- in-law, Greg (Karen) and Malcolm, of Calgary, Ewan (Marilyn) of Saskatoon, SK, and predeceased by Stuart (Jaquie) of Calgary.

Laraine was a passionate animal lover, especially of her beloved dog companion, Lucky, who she lost earlier this year. She was proud of her family and said that her greatest accomplishment was seeing how wonderful her family turned out. She will be remembered for her love of gathering with family to celebrate and play games, her concern for others, wanting to be surrounded by happiness, her giving and caring heart, and most of all, the best hugs.

Laraine’s family would like to express their gratitude to the nurses and care team at the South Health Campus in Calgary, primarily ward 66, for all their care and compassion in Laraine’s final days.

To honour Laraine's wishes her ashes will be scattered by her children in a private gathering. Any condolences, memories or photos can be shared here.
