Obituary of Izone Percival Kelsick

February 21, 1939 – Saint John's, Antigua and Barbuda

October 21, 2023 – Calgary, Alberta

Izone “Sam” Kelsick, beloved husband of Annetta Kelsick (nee Felle) of Calgary, AB, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at the age of 84 years.

Sam was born in Saint John's, Antigua and Barbuda on February 21, 1939.

Survived by his loving wife Annetta Kelsick of Calgary, his sons Norman and Paul (Shannon) Kelsick, his grandchildren Nikita Scringer, Kashay Kelsick, Tayemak Kelsick, Lourdes Kelsick, Camden Kelsick and Lennon Kelsick, his sisters Cynthia Peters and family, Dulcie White and family, Iduna Kelsick and family, Jill Russell and family and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and special friends.

Sam was predeceased by sisters Bonnilyn Kelsick, Agneta Hughes and brothers David Kelsick, Rudyard Kelsick and Bruce Kelsick.

A private Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. Family and friends are invited to join Mr. Kelsick’s service streamed live (see below) on the day of the service. For those who are unable to view live, a recording of the service will be posted. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed with Sam’s family here.

In living memory of Izone “Sam” Kelsick, a tree will be planted in the Ann & Sandy Cross Conservation Area by McInnis & Holloway Funeral Homes.
