Obituary of Seamus Francis Logue

September 19, 1953 – Dromore, Co. Tyrone, Northern Ireland

Seamus Logue beloved husband of Dolores, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at the age of 70.

Seamus was born in Dromore, Co. Tyrone, Northern Ireland and moved to Calgary in the late 1970s. He was passionate about reading his books, spirituality, and his homeland, Ireland, where he grew up on a dairy farm. Seamus was a carpenter and later a real estate agent, and he enjoyed going for drives in the countryside. He was particularly proud of his Irish heritage and was delighted when his seven sisters came out from Ireland recently for his birthday. He said when he saw the seven sisters at the airport, all his dreams had come true. Seamus was also proud of the kitchen in his home that he designed and constructed. Seamus will be most remembered for his storytelling, kindness, and humour.

Seamus is survived by his wife Dolores, son Sean, daughter Dana (Tom) McAroe; grandchildren, Kaeleigh, Patrick, and Owen; brothers, Kevin, and Liam; and sisters, Mary, Susan, Eileen, Bridget, Ann, Monica, and Fidelma; many nieces and nephews in Ireland, and his great friend, Francis McNabb. Seamus was predeceased by his mother Margaret, father Daniel, and his three brothers Charlie, Michael, and Baby Liam.
