Condolences
My condolences to you, Theresa. I will always remember the great visit I had with you both. Dick had such a sense of humour that nothing went by him without him making a comment.
Dick also had many great stories he shared. His talent in woodworking was amazing!
Condolences Terri - Dick was such a lovely caring and humorous friend to Mom and Dad - they throughly loved their times together with both of you. I will treasure out last visit in Campbell River - we had such good laughs. I will be thinking of you in the days and months to come as you get through your days without Dick. Rest easy now Dick and I hope that you have met up with Mom and Dad on the other side of that rainbow.
My heartfelt condolences to Terri and close family and friends.
I have very fond memories of Dick when I first moved to Calgary a few years back. His strong Scottish humour stood out. Terri and Dick were a great match. I truly believe that Dick's strong personality will be around in spirit to his loved ones (especially his long time wife and partner Terri). His Scottish humour and big heart will be remembered always.
Hugs and lots of love,
Audrey (and my furry companion- Angel)- LOL
Richard was my Uncle and Godfather. Most of my memories of him were growing up in Glasgow, Scotland. I would ride by bike to his house, from my Grandmother's house, to visit with him, Auntie Theresa, and all my cousins. He was the youngest of the four siblings, and was the only one who could sing (the others were terrible:-) and sing he did. He was a big Tony Bennett fan and would always give his rendition at family parties. He.arrived in Canada in 1967 and our family followed in 1968. My Dad was his older brother. Uncle Richard was instrumental in getting me my first job in Montreal, and would drive me to and from work everyday until he moved to California with his family. He always put family first, and was generous to a fault. He will be missed. RIP Uncle Richard.
