Obituary of Brent Jeffery
December 7, 1955 - Calgary, Alberta
October 29, 2023 - Calgary, Alberta
Bruce and Sandra (David) are deeply saddened to announce the sudden death of their cherished brother, Brent. He was a proud uncle to Keith (Kari) and Greg (Jordan), as well as a great-uncle to Eloise, Eleanor, Everley, and Eileen.
Brent attended Springbank School. He enjoyed being a part of the sports program there. Later, he also played flag football and hockey in the community. He formed many close, lasting friendships that he treasured throughout his entire life. His incredible loyalty always served him well.
Brent spent many years working in the flooring industry and retired from Home Depot this spring. Retirement really suited Brent. He was happier than ever enjoying time on the golf course with his buddies.
One of Brent’s greatest joys was his collection of toys and memorabilia, which he lovingly curated over the years. As an avid collector, he spent many weekends at fairs and markets searching for the next treasure to be had.
Brent will be remembered for his warm-hearted nature, and his ability to bring joy to those around him. He leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories and a profound impact on the lives he touched. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
A graveside service will be held at Union Cemetery (Ertlon Street & 32 Ave SW, Calgary, AB) on Thursday, December 28 at 11:00 am. Access off of Spiller Road and go to Section Y (overlooks Macleod Trail)
A big celebration will be held in the spring when the weather is better. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed with Brent’s family here.
In living memory of Brent Jeffery, a tree will be planted in the Ann & Sandy Cross Conservation Area by McInnis & Holloway Funeral Homes, Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, Ab t2x 3j3, Telephone: 403-256-9575.
