Obituary of Garner Douglas Jacobs

April 8, 1955 - Meaford, Ontario

December 4, 2023 - Calgary, Alberta

Garner Jacobs, beloved husband of Jo-Ann Jacobs (nee Moir) of Calgary, AB, passed away with family at his side on Monday, December 4, 2023, at the age of 68 years.

Garner was born in Meaford, Ontario on April 8, 1955. Garner married Jo-Ann in 1982 and they were blessed with a daughter whom they raised in their home in Shawnessy.  Garner accomplished much through his life, and he was particularly proud of his daughter and her achievements. He had a passion for fishing, hunting, spending time with friends and being outdoors.

Besides his loving wife, Garner is survived by his daughter Kerri (Brad), and he was an amazing grandpa to Charlotte and Spencer. Garner is also survived by his two sisters Lynn (Neil) and Wendi (Bob) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
