Dear Glenn, Courtland and Quinton. While I only knew Marnie a short time, I knew from the moment I met her that we had a deep connection. Her love for her family was so apparent to me. I hope I was able to put her mind at ease as I took Courtland under my wing as his “USMom” for his time in Cleveland. I will always be grateful for the hospitality she showed us during our weekend in Kimberley. I felt I knew for so much longer than I did.
It’s more important now than ever that you stay close as a family and continue to live your lives the way she would want you to.

Our family had the pleasure of connecting with Marnie and Glenn in Kimberley, during this time Brenda and Marnie developed a bond of comfort with each other that was genuine, real and their own. I remember seeing the two of them nested in the comfort of the Molnar house, talking and laughing… this was their unique time together, for which no others were invited.

I knew Marnie at both work and volunteering with Stampede. She was always a giving loving and outspoken person. She made a lasting impression in my life and I will treasure that. My deepest condolences to the family… may you find peace in knowing she is with her Maker.
Marnie was a sister from another mother. We grew up together in Calgary in the early sixties where our mothers were great friends. They were three young moms, Liz, Patty, and Dottie who had left their family back in Winnipeg. They each had two daughters and we were the family in town back then and continued to be connected through our mothers over the years. I think I can speak for all six of us, when I say that we were each loved by all three mothers over all the years … and now we are five.
Patty’s daughter Margie and Beth hosted a reunion at Winnipeg Beach to bring the “Mothers” together and so our children could get to know each other. We wanted them to experience this extended family.
Marnie brought her Mom Liz to Dottie funeral driving to Cranbrook in the dark winter days. Once our mothers had all passed on we connected through Facebook and visited when we went to each others cities. Marnie was special and I admired her as a wonderful mother, for her community work and for her bright spirit. To her sister Nancy we are coming – Margie and Beth from Winnipeg and Susan from Victoria, heartfelt regret from Sandy in Owen Sound.
To Greg, Quinton and Courtland – we are all family.
