Obituary of Deloris Hagel

Deloris Hagel of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023, at the age of 79 years.

Deloris was born on May 2, 1944, in Beiseker, AB. She enjoyed bowling and listening to western music, camping with Eilene and Ray (her special brother-in-law) and visiting the farm. Deloris had a memory like an elephant; she never forgot people and things that happened and will be fondly remembered by all those who ever met her.

Deloris is survived by two brothers, Doug Hagel (Donna) of Beiseker, AB and Keith Hagel (Beth) of Calgary, AB; one sister, Rosalie Schwartzenberger of Airdrie, AB.

She is predeceased by: Her parents Alphonse and Barbara Hagel; sisters, Mary Bell and Eileen Patjas; brothers, Leroy, Allen, Ken, Tom, Steve, Tim and Joey Hagel.

The family would like to thank the Clifton House staff for all they did for Deloris, and also her special care givers.

Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street N, Calgary, AB T2E 2V6) on Monday November 27, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. Family and friends who are unable to attend in person are invited to join Ms. Hagel’s service streamed live (see below) on the day of the service. For those who are unable to view live, a recording of the service will be posted.
